Aquafaba

Aquafaba is both the fancy name for the water that comes in a can of beans and the title of the new cookbook by Zsu Dever.

Our Steamed Soy Curl Buns is a vegan version of the classic Chinatown dim sum favorite.

As soon as we heard that the new restaurant from Isa Chandra Moskowitz, Modern Love Brooklyn, was accepting reservations for it’s grand opening, we jumped online and got a table. Modern Love is not to be missed and has brought serious competition to the New York City vegan restaurant scene.

While Drunken Spaghetti sounds like something you might eat cold, out of a storage container, standing over the kitchen sink after a night out, it is nothing like that all. In fact, we would be truly shocked if you had any leftovers of it at all. Drunken Spaghetti is simply spaghetti cooked in red wine.

This recipe for Braised Yuba was my first attempt at working with it and definitely won’t be my last.
